Grammar
In this lesson, we will cover some simple rules of grammar. We will start with the subject/verb agreement rule.
The General English course is designed to teach students how to use grammar correctly in everyday conversations. Students will be able to understand what people mean when they say things such as “I’d love to go there” or “It’s raining cats and dogs today.” Students will also learn how to respond appropriately to questions such as “What did you think?” and “How much does it cost?”
Vocabulary
This rule states that when there is an adjective before a noun, the adjective must agree with the noun in gender and number. For example, “The red car” is correct because the word “red” agrees with the noun “car.” However, “The red dog” is incorrect because the word “dog” does not agree with the noun “red.”

Pronunciation
In addition to agreeing with the noun, adjectives also need to agree with other words in the sentence. For example, ‘the blue car’ is correct because the word blue agrees with the noun car. However, ‘the blue dog’ is incorrect because the word blue does not agree with the word dog.
