Brandi Worley, a Darlington woman, born November 10, 1986, is the mother of her two children. She murdered on November 17, 2016. Charlee Rose Jean Worley, and Tyler Daniel Clinton Worley were the victims. Tyler was in the first grade at Sugar Creek Elementary school, unincorporated Montgomery County, Indiana. Charlee was enrolled at the Willson Early Learning Center preschool in Crawfordsville. He was seven years, and she was 3.

Murders Of Tyler and Charlee Worley
After returning from Charlee’s dance performance, Brandi went to Crawfordsville, Indiana, to purchase pipe cleaners to help Tyler with his school project. Joseph Buser, a Montgomery County prosecutor, claims that Brandi Worley purchased the Ka-Bar combat knife as a murder weapon at a Walmart on November 16. She initially put the knife in Tyler’s room when she returned home. Jason asked her if he would sleep on the couch. He declined.
Brandi lured Tyler into Charlee’s room, promising a sleepover. Their basement found sleeping Jason . After fatally stabbing the children in the necks, she stabbed herself in the neck. Brandi Worley stabbed her son to death, then stabbed herself in the neck. She replied by telling her to “go back to sleep.” Brandi then repeatedly stabbed her child. Brandi finally called 9-1-1 to report her daughter’s murders. She said she had taken “a lot” of Benadryl. She informed the 911 dispatcher she had called her mother already and that her mother was on her route. Her mother hadn’t yet realized what had happened.
Initially believing that the call was fraudulent, the 9-1-1 dispatcher asked Brandi Worley’s grandmother to check on the welfare and health of the children. Jason arose from his bed after the mother-in-law found the children dead. Brandi told Jason, “Now you can’t take the children from me.” The police arrived at the scene around 4:30 AM.

Brandi Worley was initially admitted to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, to treat self-inflicted injuries.
On November 22, 2016, the Darlington Community Center hosted the funeral. The victims were then buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington. On November 18, 2016, Congregational Christian Church in Darlington held a vigil.
After Jason Worley’s father contacted him via Reddit, Philip DeFranco, a YouTuber, assisted him. DeFranco asked viewers to donate to a GoFundMe account to cover Jason Worley’s direct costs of living and funeral expenses.

Brandi Worley initially pleaded not guilty to the charges and scheduled for trial. She pleaded guilty in January 2018 to two murder charges. Judge Harry Siamas sentenced her at the Montgomery Circuit Court to 65 years for Charlee’s murder and 55 years for Tyler’s murder. This gives her 120 years imprisonment, a de facto life sentence. Jason Worley stated, “All I care about is never seeing [Brandi Worley] ever again.” Out of sight, out of mind.
