However, there are many treatment options available to increase blood circulation in the body. But medicines and yoga, especially Adho Mukha Vrikshasana, are considered to be the best options to increase blood circulation. Adho Mukha Vraksasana is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Mukha’ meaning ‘face’, ‘Adho’ meaning ‘down’, ‘Vraksa’ meaning ‘tree’, and ‘asana’ meaning ‘pose’.
Since our face is downward like a tree, then by doing Adho Mukha Vrikshasana, there is a fresh supply of blood in our body. In the beginning, there may be difficulty in doing this asana. Therefore it is carried out with the support of the wall. Doing this also helps in overcoming the fear of falling. Gradually you can do this asana without any support.
